Navigating the 21st-Century Workplace

Around 2,500 years ago, when the Greek philosopher Heraclitus observed that “the only constant is change,” little did he know that he was describing HR in the 21st century. It’s fairly safe to say that nothing, at the moment, is a constant—office routines, hiring strategies, employee expectations, and broader economic trends are all shifting under our feet. As Heraclitus also (supposedly) once said, “How are HR professionals staying on top of it all?”

During this virtual event, sponsored by Microsoft, we’ll sit down with Otto Krusius, Intuit’s VP of workforce and workplace strategy, to learn about how the software giant (and your favorite tax helper) has been navigating the latest changes. We’ll discuss the challenges and opportunities of the new 21st-century workplace, how organizations are responding to the ever-changing demands and desires of their employees, and what this all means for HR moving forward. We’ll also be joined by Desmond Dickerson, futurist and marketing director at Microsoft, for insights on how organizations can set themselves up for success in this new era of work.
